I, the undersigned, confirm and undertake the following:
- I have received the equipment listed above from the Birzeit Agricultural Committee on custody and free of charge. I checked it at pickup and found it in the condition stated in the table.
- I will use the equipment only for picking olives, in the way the committee explains at handover, and I will not lend, rent or hand it to anyone else.
- I will return all of the equipment, including the battery, charger and tarps, on the agreed date, within 2 working days at most, in the condition I received it, clean and in working order.
- I am fully responsible for any damage, breakdown, loss or theft of the equipment or any part of it while it is with me. I will have any damage repaired at my own cost by a repairer the committee approves, or pay the value of anything lost or beyond repair: 1,100 shekels for the machine, 300 shekels for the battery and 150 shekels for the charger. A lost or damaged tarp will be replaced with a tarp of equal value and quality.
- I will tell the committee straight away about any fault, and I will not open or try to repair the equipment myself.
- If I cannot return the equipment on the agreed date, I will tell the committee before that date. I understand that a late return keeps the equipment from other families, and that the committee may refuse to lend me equipment in future if I return it late or break this undertaking.
- I alone am responsible for my own safety and that of anyone working with me while the equipment is used. The committee is not responsible for any injury or damage caused by its use.
- I agree that the committee may keep a copy of my ID card in its loan records, to be used only to follow up this loan.
